I’ve been blogging since 2005, but it was just a year ago, while still pregnant with Everett that Being5 was born. I wanted to have a blog that included us all — the kids’ milestones and stories, Josh’s hobbies and projects and my ramblings about clothes and balls that hang from truck bumpers.
To celebrate one full year of Being5, I’m having a little giveaway. In the past ten-months, daily readership has tripled and I’m so thankful for all the support — for those of you who read, comment and pass the blog on to friends. Although a lot of what I write here is for my own good, a lot of what I write is for you all. So… THANK YOU.

The best type of posts are certainly the random posts where you rattle off all of the stuff going on around you. It makes you vulnerable to your readers and gives us a glimpse into your day, a window into your world. When I read, I want to hear about the daily life, its entertaining and always eventful.
Lets get some more Josh updates going! I want to know what type of beer he is brewing and his new vintages.

While my 3 legged dog barks outside (waiting for me to throw her 46th ball of the day), my mom makes gingerbread men, and my husband pours over recipes, I am procrastinating on Facebook and Being5. I’ve been meaning to comment for over a week and glad I can squeak in before it closes. Love your blog, congrats on hitting the one year mark. Part of my resolution this year is to start blogging again, if nothing else, to keep record of the kids milestones.
