Hello 2011. Nice to meet you.
I’m not much of one to make resolutions, but I do think that the beginning of a new year is the perfect time to get a fresh start on things. There are a lot of blog challenges out there for the new year — people commit to doing something new or better for the month of January to kick of the new year.
I’ve decided that I will take this challenge, month by month for the entire year. Each month will have a different challenge — something that I hope to integrate into my life anyway — nothing extreme (well, except for February…). I’ll try to document it throughout the month.
Here are the monthly challenges I’ve come up with so far. I still need a few, so suggestions would be appreciated. What monthly challenge would you like to take on for yourself? Tell me in the comments.
JANUARY: Write one thank you note to someone in my life everyday of the month.
FEBRUARY: Learn to sew — by hand and with a machine.
MARCH: Spend one day a week baking.
APRIL: Call and say hi to someone in my life every other day.
MAY: Keep a daily journal.
JUNE: Read instead of watching TV during the daytime.
JULY: Watch all the Harry Potter movies.
AUGUST:To be determined.
SEPTEMBER: To be determined.
OCTOBER: Play cards with Josh in the evenings twice a week.
NOVEMBER: To be determined.
DECEMBER: To be determined.

I love your list! Is it bad that I especially love the BlogHer part? (Also glad I inspire champagne greatness.!) I think I’m going to steal your monthly idea. I need something like that. Happy New Year, beautiful!
