being the facebook hundred.

Since we are without a giveaway right now, I thought I’d turn something from my 2011 List into one!

One of my blog goals for the year is to reach 100 Facebook followers. There are currently 49 of you.

That includes my own MOTHER who I had to hijack her Facebook account and press the LIKE button MYSELF to make her become a follower.

Here’s my bribe.

Once the Being5 Facebook page reaches 100 followers, I will pick one winner to win these cuties…

mini latte bowls from anthropologie.

I love love love these tiny little colorful bowls. They are perfect for putting your rings and jewelry in next to the kitchen or bathroom sink. Or for a little bite of snacks for the kids. Or for dipping sauces with dinner. Or for paint during art projects. So many uses!

I can’t guarantee which colors the winner will get — I probably will choose after the winner is picked — personalized giveaways — where else can you find THAT? I will tell you that the winner will receive a set of six of these beauties.

Here are the necessary details.

To enter the drawing, you MUST be a Being5 Facebook Follower. Click HERE to go to the Being5 Facebook page and then click the LIKE button at the top of the page, next to where it says Being5.

You MUST ALSO leave a comment on this post telling me that you’re a Facebook Follower. In that comment, please tell me what you’d love to use these little bowls for, what color palette you’d like (reds,  greens, brights, neutrals, etc) and if you’d prefer to have them in all the same color or in a variety of colors.

The giveaway will stay open until 100 followers have been reached.

BONUS: If we reach 100 followers before March 4th, 2011 (which happens to be my 30th birthday!), I will add a copy of The Pioneer Woman Cooks, which didn’t get added to the Blog-iversary giveaway! One person will win the bowls and one person will win the cookbook, just to spread the love a little. :)

this post and giveaway are not sponsored by anthropologie in anyway. you should know by now that i’m just obsessed with all their little things.

Wasn’t I the first FB follower?
Hmmmmm……sake shots? HAMA bead sorter? M&M stealaway container (you know, the ones you hide from the kids)?
I think I will leave color distribution to you. What goes with hand-painted French countryside tiles, complete with grazing cows and shopfronts (have I gotten you pictures of our kitchen yet)?

  2. Tammy Bennett Says:

Oooh, good idea with your Mom when she is Being Non-Compliant-hijack and click. Something very useful to keep in mind.

  3. megan Says:

i’m following you on facebook now

  4. Andrea Says:

I’m a follower! I want those bowls. See you tomorrow :)

  5. Jordan Says:

I’m now a follower. And I love tiny bowls. I would use them for cooking- I like pretending I am a sous chef and pre-dicing/chopping ingredients and putting them in tiny bowls, then adding them to the dish with a flourish.

  6. Molly Says:

I’m a follower. I love the bowls the remind me of mini versions of my Martha Bowls that we use for big bowls of cereal or salad.

  7. Mary HaWaaboo Says:

Katie – Love the blog! Helps me see I’m not the only one when it comes to kid issues. Kira has the separation anxiety thing too. I was thinking it was the move, but maybe just a phase (I hope). Anyway, keep up the good work! P.S. Red and blue would look awesome in my kitchen!

  8. Michelle Elston Says:

    I love following you! =)

  9. B Says:

I’m a facebook follower and I shall suggest your page to my friends. Brownie points :) Plus maybe I’ll eat less ice cream using the smaller bowls or would I just have to scoop more frequently? we will see.. And since they don’t come in sequins, I guess a variety of colors will do!

  10. alex Says:

I’m a follower!!! And I totally want these bowls! So cute!

  11. tiffany Says:

Katie I love your blog! I don’t have a family of my own but I live vicariously through yours!

As for the prize: I am a facebook follower, I like bright colors (my favorite colors is green ever since I saw a giant green hot air balloon while on a walk with my dad and mom as a little girl), and I like to put little snacks in little bowls because it makes me think I am eating a big treat when it is just a small taste!

  12. Jordan P Says:

I’m a follower on facebook. I am ALSO a UNC graduate, so I’d have to say that I love the blue color of the bowls. I’d use them ALL the time for prep. Often, I end up putting small amounts of ingredients in HUGE bowls because that’s all I had on hand, so these would be great!

  13. Kacie Says:

Oh and I forgot the colors & uses part :-) I’d love neutrals to complement my new white Crate & Barrel dishes. I’d use them for ice cream, cereal and condiments when I host taco nights with the girls at my townhouse. :-)

  14. sara Says:

I not only follow you on face book but I literally follow you in real life too. Just kidding. I would use these bowls to bathe in because I am so skinny now that the baby is here…
Chocolate. I would eat chocolate out of them and drink bowls of red wine.
I like the greens or neutrals or yellow?

  15. Kim Coma Says:

folow follow follow follow follow the yellow brick road! ;-)

  16. amommyinthecity Says:

“liked” you on facebook. I figured maybe the good karma would come my way since you just won my giveaway :) These bowls are amazing. I would love a variety of the neutral colors for eating ice cream, soup, cereal. If it fits in the bowl, I will eat out of it! What a great giveaway Katie!

  17. Nicole Says:

I like free stuff. I’m just awsome that way. And I already liked you in facebook so this is easy peasy. :) I would use those awesome little bowls for my rings by the kitchen sink and on my nightstand for pony tail holders cuz my hair sucks and ponytails rock.

I love your blog!! I think those bowls would be perfect for goldfish crackers for the baby or ice cream for Mommy! :) Since I hope to one day update our kitchen the neutrals would be better but I would appreciate any color if they are free..heehee. Thanks for letting us share in your families adventure. :)

Okay lady, I’m officially following. I use these mini bowls to get a few bites of oatmeal into my children. They only have to eat like 3 bites, and I feel like a champion when I see the empty bowl. I should be honest…the oatmeal is generally laced with fruit and honey.
I love me some aqua & red.

I’m following you on FB! I would love these little bowls… I would use them for little snacks to keep out in the kitchen (almonds, etc.). Or I would use them for my baby food…I don’t like to put my baby food in plastic dishes so I like little glass or ceramic bowls for that. Would love red & neutrals!

  34. Robyn Says:
