Last night, I was laying in bed trying to fall asleep and really regretting that Diet Coke I had around 8:30pm when I got a message from Christine. She is the owner and creative mind behind Take it Personally by Christine — Invitations with Personality.

We all know how I feel about pretty papers and invitations and a good pen — I spent an hour blissfully strolling around Paper Zone this morning, swooning over all the different envelopes — so I crawled out of bed and jumped online immediately to check out Christine’s products.

I honestly thought that I’d seen everything available as far as invitations and am slightly miffed with myself that I had never come across Christine’s unique designs. She uses a photograph and creates a brilliant graphic design of people’s faces on the invitations! I probably spent an hour scrutinizing every example that she had posted and was amazed by how much the invitation character not only looked like the original photograph, but you could tell that Christine had also captured the true personality of each person.

I especially loved this little Rockstar Invite — it reminded me of Everett and would have been my pick for his first birthday party invites.

There are far more than just kid’s birthday party invites on Take it Personally by Christine — she also designs invites for baby showers, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, weddings, graduations — really, any event you need or can think of. And, there are some other fun custom designed items on her site that aren’t offered at your run-of-the-mill design shop — I love the lawn signs to announce the arrival of a new baby!
