being our second blog-iversary.

Today marks the second blog-iversary of  Being5 — two years of blogging almost every single day, gaining more readers than I ever thought I’d have, meeting new people who have become friends and reconnecting with old friends, telling you about my life (even when you didn’t want to hear about it) and so much more.

Honestly,  I’m not sure where Being5 will go in the future. Blogging is an in the moment thing for me — I rarely plan posts in advance because I want this to be a place that is authentic to me during each moment in my life.

I have to say that it’s been quite a year — both on Being5 and in my life — and I’m thankful to have you all here with me on this crazy journey of blogging. I’m thankful for your support and sense of humor and just for being here.

Since it’s the holidays and I’m feeling lovey and I haven’t given you anything in a while, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite things right now from one of my favorite friends, who I happened to meet via all of this.

PaperCourt Press is my go-to for custom stationary and invites and now, they’ve also moved into the tech accessory biz with customized phone covers. Pick your own pattern, monogram or name style and colors to make the perfect case for you. I think my fave is the Trellis Pattern (even though, I do love that Chevron!) with the Banner Name in Simple Font. Colors are a bit harder to pin down — maybe a little orange and navy or pink and red? It’s too hard to decide! And, the best part — you don’t have to be an iPhone user to get a custom case from PaperCourt Press — they are available for the iPhone 3G/3GS, iPhone 4/4S, Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant, Blackberry Bold 9700 and iPod 4G Touch.

** This giveaway is closed. See the winner HERE. **

Now, for the giveaway details –

One lucky Being5 reader will win a customized phone cover by PaperCourt Press, or one of the other phone covers that are available. Don’t have a phone that fits the PaperCourt Press covers? I’ll happily replace the cover with some custom stationary for you from PaperCourt Press instead…

Entries will be accepted until noon PST on Saturday, December 31st, when I will draw and announce a winner.

To enter, please leave a comment on this blog post telling me what your plans are for New Year’s Eve this year. (1 entry)

Also, if you’re a Being5 Facebook fan, you get an additional entry. Please let me know in the comments. (1 entry)

Just like last year’s blog-iversary giveaway, if 50 people enter the giveaway, I’ll draw an additional winner, who will receive a set of custom stationary from PaperCourt Press.

this giveaway was provided by moi — poor courtney of papercourt press doesn’t even know i’m pimping her out today.

Ooh, fun! Hmm, New Year’s Eve? I’m mainly just crossing my fingers that Luke will sleep more than 45 minutes in a row, at this point. No plans other than exhausted sleeplessness. :)

New Year’s Eve will be spent out of state with family who most likely won’t make it until 9:00 let alone midnight. So our kids will probably force us to stay awake until midnight to ring in the new year.
