being what i read in 2012.

This is how she feels about having to go to work with me today. SO EMBARRASSING.

I know. I know. We’re done with 2012 and on to 2013, but I keep seeing these fantastic book lists from last year and thought I’d do the same, in hopes that you’d also tell me what you loved reading in 2012.

(wow, I love a good run-on sentence.)

Here’s what I read in 2012. It’s not a very long list, but some big books in there that kept me busy for a while.

(in random order…)

WILD: FROM LOST TO FOUND ON THE PACIFIC CREST TRAIL by Cheryl Strayed.

FIFTY SHADES OF GREY TRILOGY by E.L. James

THE BUNGALOW by Sarah Jio

BLACKBERRY WINTER by Sarah Jio

GONE GIRL by Gillian Flynn

THE PILLARS OF THE EARTH by Ken Follett

WORLD WITHOUT END by Ken Follett (um, the mass market covers for his books make them look WAY cheesier than they are! i promise!)

A SIMPLE THING by Kathleen McCleary

1Q84 by Haruki Murakami

What did you read that you’d recommend?

YEAH! Love your reading lists! I’m adding these to my library list today. Except for 4 that are one here that I’ve already read…can you guess which four? Two hints: (1) Three are from a trilogy and I’m currently preggo (tmi?) and (2) the last one is my fav nw author that I discovered on your website.
