being scenes from our weekend.

A quick hello in between articles and before I need to get dinner on the table. By dinner, I mean quickly-made quesadillas and whatever veggies I can find in our fridge. What did you do this weekend? (I just realize that it’s Tuesday, by the way.)

It was over 50-degrees in Seattle, so I busted out the shorts. Yes, my legs are even that white with an Instagram filter.

Bethany turned 30 and nobody has ever made a crown of flowers look so appropriate or so good.

I introduced Josh to sangria. He forgot that beer even exists.

This one came to town from Tahoe. I didn’t want to give her back.

Although I love my dearest friends for more than their looks, um, hello.

Bethany sat a small crowd of us at what we dubbed the “kid’s table” at the party. It was a good decision.

This is what a road trip to Bellingham the morning after Bethany’s 30th birthday party, with three kids and not enough coffee looks like.
